Position Summary:The Associate Vice President for Benefits will manage the benefit programs of the Arkansas State University System and will report to the A-State System Vice President of FinanceDuties & Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include directing the administration of insurance, retirement, and other benefits programs
Evaluating and developing recommendations for improvements to faculty and staff employer-sponsored benefit programs
Negotiating contractual agreements and renewals with carriers
Directing the system-wide Benefits Committee
Analyzing legislation related to retirement and other benefits programs
Managing funds related to the benefits programs
Other duties as assigned
