DescriptionOur Ambulatory Surgery Center at Spivey Stationis seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse with 2+ years of experience. Our Registered Nurses are fundamental members of inter-professional teams in hospitals and clinics that are committed to outstanding patient care. Operating Room RN Scrub
Capable clinician who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.
Evaluates patient's response to planned care and adjusts plan of care as appropriate while identifying patient and family learning needs and makes recommendations to resources regarding those needs.
Incorporates AACN Synergy Model into clinical practice.

Recognizes needs and advocates for patient based on knowledge of condition
Utilizes resources in a responsible manner with a focus on cost containment.
Identifies and implements a course of action in non-routine situations, seeking assistance to resolve complex issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
BLS certification (AHA) required and ACLS may be required in designated departments

Nursing scope of practice:GI, Physiatry, Orthopedics, General, ENT, GYN, Urology, Podiatry and Pediatrics
Staffing Hours: 6a-2:30p Pre op, 7a-3:30p OR and 8a-4:30p PACU. Hoursmay vary depending on cases and/or schedule needs.
Travel to other Emory ASC’s is REQUIRED .
