This position serves as a member of the MaineDOT Property Office based out of the Jonesboro Maintenance and Operations camp. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Research and acquisition of public and civil records,
Tracking and data entry of Property Owner Reports (PORs),
Maintenance and calibration of survey equipment,
Performing editing tasks associated with research and data entry in Realty Management System (RMS), and,
Acting as survey crew chief on an as needed basis.
Work requires the ability to use complex electronic survey equipment and related software, computer skills to process survey data. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to acquiring accurate survey and property information. Work will be conducted throughout the Eastern Region. Preference will be given to those with prior survey experience.To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:Five (5) years of experience in engineering –OR- an Associate Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and three (3) years of experience in engineering -OR- a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or a related technical field and one (1) year of experience in engineering.
