CPU microcode engineer

Job DescriptionDevelops, validates, and optimizes microcode that drives CPU microarchitecture and internal operations and instruction execution of Intel x86 processors. Participates in the definition of microcode architecture in partnership with processor architects and responsible for designing instructions that enhance processor performance, efficiency, security, and functionality. Collaborates with other processor architects and design engineers to ensure seamless integration of microcode with the overall processor architecture. Conducts performance analysis and validates the reliability and effectiveness of microcode under various operating conditions and workloads. Contributes to the innovation and enhancement of Intel processor technology to address performance and design constraints through microcode solutions.QualificationsMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Minimum Qualifications:

10+ Years of experience

Masters in CS or EE

Preferred Qualifications:

PhD or Masters in CS or EE
