OverviewThe Digital Platform Manager – Operations is a leadership position that operates at the intersection of the Business, Users, and Technology to iteratively deliver impactful outcomes for the Operations and Access & Visitors digital platforms.The Digital Platform Manager leads an Agile delivery team and works with senior leadership to gain a deep understanding of their domain. They collaborate with a variety of stakeholders in the development of strategic blueprints, roadmaps, and investment proposals. They are responsible for articulating and translating the overall digital platform vision into the strategy and the tactics to make it reality.ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

Accountable for the creation and communication of the digital vision/strategy for the digital platform based on engagement with the platform sponsors, stakeholders, and users

Manages 8 to 12 staff which including engineers, project managers, and systems analysts aligned to the digital platform

Acts as the primary point of contact between IT and the digital platform sponsors for the portfolio

Responsible for digital blueprint(s) and strategic roadmap(s) associated with the digital platform

Develops and communicates investment proposals via engagement with digital platform stakeholders

Engages with users across the organization to ensure user experience is simple and intuitive

Develops a deep understanding of the technology landscape associated with the digital platform

Works with other Digital Platform Managers to ensure cross-platform alignment

Evaluates ongoing platform performance and progress towards achieving the strategy

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:

BS/BA and 10 years work experience -OR-

MS/MA or higher and 8 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

5+ years acting in a Product Owner, Program/Project Manager, Team Lead, or similar role

3+ years in a Technology Leadership role, e.g., Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Operations, etc.

Experience working with executives and business partners to shape vision and strategy

Deep understanding of agile methodology and its various implementations (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Experience in developing and evaluating metrics, e.g., KPIs, OKRs, to assess performance

Experience in transforming teams and organizations to new methodologies and mindsets

Familiarity with operational, e.g. safeguards, security, etc. processes and technology landscape a plus
