Fiduciary Associate

Job Purpose & ScopeResponsible for providing direct Trust & Wealth client service as well as general administrative support to Trust & Wealth teammates. Develops and maintains professional and effective internal and external relationships that foster teamwork and promote favorable reputational awareness of Trust & Wealth at Bank OZK. Essential Job Functions

Executes daily transaction activity including client account maintenance, disbursements, account opening and closing activities, and asset receipt and delivery instructions in support of client service efforts.

Interacts with Operations, Middle Office, Compliance, IT and other Trust & Wealth partners as necessary to execute daily tasks according to established policy and procedures.

Provides ongoing support to prepare, coordinate, deliver, and collect necessary account and client documentation in accordance with regulatory and internal compliance procedures.

Engages with clients, internal partners, and Trust & Wealth teammates to perform research as needed to answer questions, problem-solve, and provide information to tax and legal partners.

Provides ongoing support of Trust & Wealth tax reporting requirements including tracking and account maintenance, and interaction with third party fiduciary tax preparation services; performs tasks related to annual fiduciary income and other tax filing and reporting activities.

Provides support for Trust & Wealth team business development efforts including preparation of presentation materials, conference coordination and attendance, scheduling, and pipeline tracking.

Maintains good punctuality and attendance to work.

Follows Bank policy, procedures, and guidelines.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of general banking and/or wealth or fiduciary management concepts.

Knowledge of basic fiduciary law.

Knowledge and awareness of data security within a banking environment.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, teammates, and internal and external partners.

Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills with minimal guidance and anticipate likely as well as alternative outcomes.

Ability to coordinate multiple activities and data sources to achieve desired outcomes.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and account information.

Skill in using computer and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in a related paralegal role or in an administrative role in a professional financial services or brokerage services environment required; OR, in lieu of experience, degree in trust administration required.

Prior experience in financial planning preferred.

Prior experience using Smartsheet technology preferred.
