Their ability to multitask and consistently deliver high quality care makes them some of the most well-rounded nurses caring for MedSurg Surgery patients admitted to our unit. Keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency attribute to their success. As a Nurse, you will advance your career by providing care to patients funneled in from other units in the medical center which will quickly acquaint you with a variety of injuries, treatment options, and disease states. This provides you with the education and experience to advance your nursing career in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency.ResponsibilitiesProvides care to patients who are preparing for or recovering from surgeryAbility to multitask in a fast paced environment while delivering quality patient care Collect, read, and interpret assigned patient’s health historyCreate and implement care plans in collaboration with other care team membersAdminister medications to patients and educate caregivers when necessaryQualificationsWe are offering a 25,000 Sign on Bonus (nights only) to new hires who meet the following eligibility requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
Diploma in Nursing from accredited nursing program or Associates Degree in Nursing required
Active Registered Nurse Licensure in Arkansas or eNLC licensure with multistate privileges in good standing with the Arkansas Board of Nursing. License must be unencumbered.
6 months of nursing experience required (New graduates would need to complete a residency program before consideration for this unit)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Previous nursing experience in acute care medical surgical
