We believe an effective, dynamic and vibrant Volunteerism Program can provide our foundation with a competitive advantage in our ability to help communities have greater community purpose, outcomes and impact.In this positionIn this important role, you will lead all elements of Ford’s official volunteerism program, including the efforts to reimagine and reinvigorate the program.What you'll do
Organize and coordinate volunteer projects and events, including monthly tentpole events, virtual volunteering opportunities, as well as standing and templated projects.
Manage a close and functional network of volunteer ambassadors around the broader Ford enterprise around the world. Establish a clear and impactful interaction model between employees, our nonprofit partners, and our core work at the Fund.
Lead all operations, compliance and administrative duties.
Manage our online volunteer registration web platform.
Manage the design, production and distribution of t-shirts to ensure a uniform look and feel during volunteer events in various markets.
Coordinate the storytelling activities with regard to communications and marketing of the program. This includes internal communications with Ford’s workforce, project content capture and storytelling, etc.
Manage the personnel and resources available to support managing the program.
Lead Fund organization in research and understanding of latest trends in employee volunteer programs and nonprofit partner capacity building
Lead and implement the reimagination of the volunteer program. Leverage your experience with employee volunteer programs, CSR, ESG, and partnerships to refine
Ford’s unique volunteering value proposition. Evaluate emerging technologies, software, and innovative engagement models for sustainable and collaborative community impact.
Leverage your expertise and network of employee volunteerism, CSR, and ESG to establish metrics and KPI’s that deliver social impact for all stakeholders
Manage employee grantmaking system and program budgets in coordination with our finance tea
You'll have
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of corporate volunteer program management experience
Even better, you may have
Master’s Degree
8+ years of related experience in philanthropy, community impact, or volunteerism
Deep knowledge, and implementation experience in transforming and building an impactful, multi-stakeholder employee volunteer program
Experience leading teams and developing efficient corporate interaction models build on data and KPIs
Strong knowledge of latest trends in philanthropy, social impact, and employee volunteerism including local and national landscape
Human centered design thinking experience with expertise in social impact and program design
Experience in data analytics with the ability to communicate and influence through data set trends and storytelling
Operational or program design experience within external community engagement in historically marginalized communities
White space, undefined project management experience ground in strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
Ability to handle multiple major priorities during a significant strategy transformation
