Support Architectural Team

Provide content inputs related to Process Items (powertools, EP, hand tools, …) for New Program Cost Studies in GMOD

Develop process sheets and PFMEA’s in accordance to GPDS timeline

Provide initial process sheet allocations

Manage all aspects of the upfront DPA5 process within Body on Frame (BOF) or Unitized programs between UNV0 and phases of GPDS

Ensure all DPA5 milestones are met on time and within the Quality targets

Work with counterparts in PD to quickly resolve product design and manufacturing issues – e2ks

Deliver processes that meet all GAP, SBOP, SBOD and Modularity API requirements

Work with upfront Process Strategies Team to incorporate new standard assembly processes, tooling and facilities to accommodate new technologies or efficiency improvements

Drive labor efficiency and complexity reduction where possible during the review of new content / features development.

Lead the identification, resolution, and closure of Manufacturing Feasibility issues in the up-front timeframe

Write Deviations (GAP, GMR) after

Complete SCCAF’s and submit them for Quality Mgr. approval

Evaluate initial Health Charts

Support Virtual Build Events

Perform P-Release

Support Cycle Line Layout development (CLL) with focus on maximizing operator density.

Workstation ownership - single source of communication, incl tooling and facilities

Workstation readiness assessment

Develop and deliver UN/UP tooling Scope of Works for issuance to supplier(s)

Purchase order(s) placement to supplier(s)

You'll have

Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

5+ years of experience supporting new product launches or manufacturing engineer experience.
