Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role primarily revolves around the healthcare industry, requiring you to handle a variety of administrative tasks within a medical facility. Training is done in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.Responsibilities: Manage incoming calls, ensuring that all inquiries are addressed promptly and efficiently Schedule patient appointments, taking into account the availability of medical staff and patient preferences Carry out insurance verifications to confirm patient coverage and reduce the risk of payment disputes Oversee the process of prior authorizations to ensure that patients receive the necessary care without undue delay Undertake receptionist duties, including greeting visitors, managing patient records, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area Actively monitor and take appropriate action on patient accounts to ensure they are up to date and accurate.Requirements Proficiency in Medical Insurance Verification is essential. Experience with Prior Authorizations is required. Ability to effectively manage Patient Scheduling. Must be capable of performing Receptionist Duties in a medical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software. Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred. High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
