Description:Mig Welding in Huntsville, AlabamaThis is a production weld that is fast paced, demanding and fun. Candidates will be MIG welding on mild steel. Everything is on a cycle time and tac time. This is a fast pace and candidates will need to maintain the pace. Candidates are working in a weld bay on an assembly line process for welding. They will work off a computer screen that details the weld required and lists instructions.Cycle time is 5 minutes per frame- they are expected to get out around 70- 100 frames per shift.Contract: 3 months to 12 month contract (Per Diem: $100/day meant to pay for lodging/meals/incidentals)Pay: $22/hr on all shifts; $33/hr on overtime, $100/day per diemHours: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift availableExpect to work 6x 10 hour days (more or less voluntary OT is available)Skills:Mig welding, robotic weldingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:1-3 year of experience weldingMIG welding preferredExperience welding on steel preferredWill need to have own weld helmet or hoodMust be able to work a 10 hour shift on their feetWill be expected to meet production goals of 5 minute cycle timeExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
