Aerotek is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist in the Little Rock/Hot Springs area.Description:
Shop leads send part list that need to be ordered to the Procurement team. Team gets request added into ERP system will bill of material.
Download request into Excel sheet, go to market with various approved vendors to get pricing.
Will do track/trace on every part vendor provides to see who built it and where part originated from.
Try to get as many quotes as possible, but purchase as many items as possible from same supplier.
Once product is sourced, send information over to Customer Service Team for customer price quoting.
Once they get the quote agreed upon, Procurement Specialist will purchase part with best lead time and cost.
Issue purchase order for transactions.
Working with 3rd parties to complete work if tasks cannot be completed in house.
Ensure vendors are approved for requested part and type of work.
Follow up with parts supplier for any issues/defects on incoming parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of Procurement experience, ideally in a regulated environment highly preferred, Aviation/Aerospace preferred.
Excel experience with formulas and pivot tables.
Experience working within an ERP system. Quantum or Component Control preferred.
Tracking/tracing place of origin for sourced parts.
Ability to multitask multiple projects/tasks at one time.
