Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstThe Provider Contracting Executive initiates, negotiates, and executes physician, hospital, and/or other provider contracts and agreements for an organization that provides health insurance.The Provider Contracting Executive communicates and strategizes internally and externally contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.Typical Role Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Analyze financial impact of contracts and terms.
Maintain contracts and documentation within a tracking system.
Assist in identifying and recruiting providers based on network composition and needs.
Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance.
Use your skills to make an impactRequired Qualifications
8+ years of progressive network management experience; this can include: hospital, ACO, and or physicians/group contracting in a healthcare company
2+ years of project management experience
Provider contracting experience, including contract preparation, negotiation and implementation, financial analysis and rate proposal development.
Ability to travel within a designated area (Texas and/or Arkansas) up to 20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Experience contracting with large hospital systems
Experience with ACO/Risk Contracting
Experience with Value Based Contracting
Texas and/or Arkansas market experience (live within region, preferred TX or AR)
