OverviewAs our Radiology Tech at CHI St. Vincent, you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions.Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience.To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.
Qualifications
Graduate of a program of Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT)
Active Radiologic Technology license in good standing with the State of Arkansas
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
