Providing guidance, discipline, and controllership
Helping the Sales team make decisions and formulate strategy using sound data and analysis
Implement process, rigor, and governance that is necessary without inhibiting agility and innovation
The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?In this role, you will be the lead Finance Controller and partner for the Americas Sales Leader and team. You will provide support, partnership, guidance, and controllership. Generally, the work you will do will include:Establishing standard and consistent reporting, data, and general guidance to the Sales organization.
Coordination with the Geo controllers
Performing analysis on and provide SaaS metrics to help guide the business
Establishing controls and process to improve planning and forecast accuracy
Developing clean, articulate, and exceptional presentations that can and will be shared with executive leadership
Leading the AMER business planning process with all key stakeholders
Producing content and taking lead on Quarterly Business Reviews and regular reporting
Provide oversight and controllership to the deal review process
Reviewing Commission payrolls monthly
Reviewing, analyzing, and providing general oversight for the quota planning process
What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?In this role, you will report to the Tanzu (MAPBU) Sales Finance Senior Director, Joey Lazarus. Joey is a collaborative and inclusive leader, who focuses heavily on empowerment, feedback, and development. He aims to create a culture where team members will grow and develop and also not only embrace change, but use it as an opportunity to be innovative and come up with creative solutions. The team is broken up into different geographies to mirror the Sales organization we support.Where is this role located?Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable.
