The Senior Manager of Quality, Scoring Services serves as the guide and leader of the content team leading quality and content related functions for all projects and management of staff who perform scoring content activities while monitoring outcomes and driving efficiencies. Strategically, they are responsible for establishing expectations and driving future improvements. Tactically, they are responsible for the daily activities necessary for accurate delivery of scores based on defined quality metrics that are on time and on budget.The successful candidate will lead, recommend and evolve our scoring process, driving procedural efficiencies to meet all quality standards.SUMMARYThe Senior Manager of Quality, Scoring Services is responsible for:

Ensuring all scoring projects meet required quality standards and are delivered on time, on budget.

Scoring process development, adherence and continuous improvement while striving for consistent, repeatable, and efficient procedures across all projects.

Leading the quality process development as it relates to delivery of scoring services.

Meeting quality goals.

Providing leadership to scorer, supervisor, and scoring directors for large scale programs staffed by contingent staffing pools.

Leading the scoring content/quality staff, including mentoring, coaching, professional development, and accountability expectations.

Lead the development of training process, systems and procedures to maximize scorer qualification and accuracy

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree preferred.

Knowledge of scoring services best practices; Assessment industry experience highly desired.

Management experience in the areas of leadership, mentoring, professional development and team building.

Quality management, content specialist resource allocation and management

Customer relationship management and people management

Business development expertise to support comprehensive scoring service approaches.

Responsibilities:

Ensures Scoring Quality group has the capacity and capability to meet the requirements and timelines of the business.

Identify, manage, and mitigate quality and content related risks.

Drives continuous improvement, cost improvement, quality standards, and improved cycle time.

Forecasting, planning, and allocation of content specialists.

Provides input and guidance to the scoring solution for bids and proposals.

Assures effective communication and collaboration internal and external to the scoring organization.

Supports customer communication and presentations, as needed, to support Scoring Services.

Manage and monitor development of training materials to support scoring directors, supervisors and scorers

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location.
