This position works in the Child Care Licensing Unit and is governed by state and federal laws and agency institution policy. The Specialist work closely with supervisors and other licensing staff. The Specialist will follow all requirements in the Child Care Service Specialist Standard Operating Manual. Initiate, compile and complete reports according to time frames specified by procedures. Develop and maintain an accurate system for tracking pertinent information related to child care licensing. Provide accurate feedback to supervisor regarding assignments. Communicate effectively both oral and written using appropriate grammatically correct business language. Keep supervisor abreast of critical issues in a timely manner.
