IMMEDIATE PART TIME WEEKEND opening for experienced line cook/kitchen prep position at World Services for the Blind, 2811 Fair Park Boulevard, Little Rock.
Candidate requirements include:
Must be able to work between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (shifts vary), and on some holidays and weekends.
Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds.
Must be able to read, write and perform basic mathematical computations.
Must possess a valid Arkansas driver's license and a good driving record.
Primary duties include:
1. Cooks and prepares designated meals.
2. Preps vegetables and other foods for next day's menu.
3. Prepares desserts for lunch and dinner.
4. Prepares food for, and sets up the salad bar; properly stores salad bar items.
5. Makes sure food is served at the scheduled serving times.
6. Works as host in the dining room, once food is served.
7. Cleans and sets dining tables.
8. Washes dishes, operates dishwasher, and puts dishes away.
9. Sweep and mop work area in kitchen, dish room and dining room.
10. Takes out trash and garbage.
11. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
