Migraine Study - Accepting New Participants
Just about everyone gets headaches. But a migraine is not just a bad headache. It's an extremely incapacitating collection of symptoms, and can include:
- Severe throbbing or pulsating sensation, usually on one side of the head
- Nausea or vomiting
- Extreme sensitivity to light and sound
- Blurred vision
Although there are many over-the-counter treatments available, they do not work for everyone and can sometimes cause unwanted side effects.
Right now, doctors at select centers in the US are conducting a new migraine clinical study that may be able to help. The study is for an investigational oral medication designed to provide rapid and sustained pain relief. If you are 18 - 65 years old, and average between 2 - 8 migraine attacks per month, you may qualify to participate. If you choose to participate, you will receive all study-related care at no cost from a local specialist.
