Looking for a female caregiver to sit overnight with our 86 year old mom in west Little Rock. The days available are Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 12:00 AM to 6:00 AM (6 hour overnight shift.basically you'd come in Monday and Wednesday at midnight and work until 6:00 AM Tuesday and Thursday). You won't be able to sleep, as you need to be alert for when mom gets up to use the bedside potty (you won't have any other chores or responsibilities, so you can bring in a book to read during the down time). Mom uses a walker and most of the time can get out of her bed or recliner with a little assistance. On a rare occasion, she might be a full lift (she only weighs 120 pounds) so you need to be young and strong enough to do a full lift. She may need assistance with personal care activities as well. Also, me and my brother are home full time, so we’ll be around if needed. We live in a safe upscale neighborhood in Chenal Valley in west Little Rock (near the Walmart Supercenter on Cantrell Road). Private pay, $12/hour (paid at the end of each shift via Cash App).
