Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour to start
Shift: Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) 7am - 3:30 pm
Monday - Friday (some Saturdays) 10:00 am- 6:30 pm
Scope of Position:
Material Handler, loading and unloading of freight and goods…breaking down of pallets, building of pallets and inventory order. Picking/packing items.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds or more, physically able to work this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
Moves materials off trucks, pallets or racks and prepares orders for shipment while sorting and segregating materials onto correct pallets or other locations based on item number.
Place labels on boxes or pallets as instructed in the process
Wrap pallets with stretch wrap and other packaging supplies
Put away product in designated warehouse locations
Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues
Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment.
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
Keep clean and safe work environment
Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including safety.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred
1 year of relevant warehouse and distribution experience preferred
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
BG check and DS required
