Arkansas Aggregates is looking for a reliable, positive team player for our full time senior diesel mechanic position. Must be organized and ensure the highest possible standards in the industry of diesel mechanics. Willingness to maintain respectful working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
Duties including:
Follow a checklist of inspection procedures
Test drive vehicles and diagnose malfunctions
Inspect brakes, steering mechanisms, transmissions and engines
Tighten bolts and screws and attach system components
Requirements include:
Must be able to pass drug test
Must have valid drivers license.
Must be able to lift 70-100 lbs.
Must have 3+ years experience
Must be available full time
Knowledge of repairing dozers
Knowledge of repairing excavators
Ability to troubleshoot
Capability of working on electrical systems
Having knowledge of smaller equipment such as rollers, forklift, and skid steers
Understanding and knowing what type of parts to get for equipment
A plus for candidates to have a CDL but not a must
Any Rock Quarry experience is a plus
