Job Purpose:We are looking for hardworking individuals to roll layers of fiberglass and resin to hulls and decks. This will include use of rollers, brushes, and a fiberglass gun. Layup employees also insert metal reinforcement pieces into the boat parts, do some light sanding and grinding and other duties as assigned. Job Details:This is a first shift position, and the hours are from 6:00 am to 2:30 pmStarting pay for this position is $15.40/hourPassing a respirator fit test, wearing a respirator, and being clean shaven are REQUIREDAll positions are safety sensitive. A safety sensitive position is any position designated in writing by an employer, in which a person performing the position while under the influence of marijuana may constitute a threat to health or safety.Qualified candidates will be asked to submit to drug testing AND a respirator evaluation test. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Be able to identify the different hulls and decks that are to be laminated.Operates a variety of power tools including but not limited to scissors, drills, grinders, and overhead hoistsInspects all parts so that they are complete and up to quality standards.Work with a team to complete daily tasksPerform other duties, assignments and responsibilities as needed.Must be flexible and willing to cross train within the department
