Description Are you an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper who enjoys taking on new challenges? If you're comfortable with preparing and processing financial statements and accounts and managing all general accounting and bookkeeping essential functions, Robert Half might have a job for you. Performing reconciliations for bank and general ledgers, as well as payroll processing

Preserving historical records through accurate filing of documents

Ensuring correct and punctual monthly, quarterly and year end close

Assembling the trial balance and financial statements, including balance sheet and income and cash flow statements

Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including collections

Studying and adhering to federal, state, and local legal requirements, filing reports, and detailing needed actions to management

Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets

Overseeing accounting clerks and entry-level bookkeepers

Requirements - Prior experience with Excel and Peachtree

Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills

Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures

Bank reconciliations experience

Strong familiarity with cash reconciliations

QuickBooks experience

Balance Sheet Reconciliation experience preferred

3 or more years of experience in the bookkeeping field

A thorough knowledge of accrual and cash basis of accounting

Experience with payroll preferred

High school diploma or comparable diploma with an AA degree or higher in Accounting or Business preferred

Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

Highly capable of analyzing financial data and quickly creating accurate reports
