In this role, you will provide hands-on emergency and critical care, including:Triage and prioritize incoming patientsPlace IV catheters, central lines, NG tubes, and nasal cannulas; perform blood draws and transfusionsAssist with radiographs, barium studies, and ultrasound-guided proceduresProvide intensive care for ICU patients, including chest tube maintenance and critical patient supportBandage, splint, and assist in surgeryPrepare and interpret fecals, blood smears, and cytologiesMentor and train less experienced staffPartner with DVMs to provide patient care, comfort, and client educationThis position is ideal for CVTs looking to practice at the top of their license, grow their skills, and be part of a collaborative, high-energy ER team.
