Position Overview: We are looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a high-demand position that requires both mental and physical effort to excel. You’ll need to be a fast typer and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment. Your role will involve assisting pharmacists with prescription preparation, customer interactions, and maintaining the pharmacy's operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pharmacists in accurately preparing and dispensing medications.
Assist customers with prescription pick-up and over-the-counter medication needs.
Maintain and organize pharmacy inventory, ensuring shelves are stocked and products are up to date.
Comply with federal and state regulations regarding pharmacy operations.
Process prescription orders using pharmacy software—must be tech-savvy and able to type quickly.
Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns promptly.
Physical activity required: must be able to move around the pharmacy, stand for long periods, and lift/move inventory as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a pharmacy technician preferred.
Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is a plus, but not required.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Must be tech-savvy, with proficiency in using pharmacy software and technology.
Ability to type quickly and accurately.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
Capable of handling the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and moving around frequently.
Reliable transportation (e.g., car) required for local travel between pharmacy locations
