This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.FunctionsProvides legal representation to all defendants, as required by the Courts. Investigates defendant's case by locating and interviewing witnesses, in order to obtain information relevant to the defense of the client. Writes briefs, motions, and other pleadings supporting case arguments to facilitate litigation process. Represents the defendant in legal proceedings including state and federal court.
