Cultural Homestay International
Teacher Coordinator (TC)
Summer work available:
Organize and implement a program in your community for a small group of exchange students from Vietnam who will be in Bakersfield this summer.
If you are interested in other cultures, enjoy being with teens and would love to teach the students about our culture, this is the position for you!
Teaching Credential not required. Full training and support provided.
Recruit volunteer host families
Provide an orientation to the families prior to the students arrival
Organize Welcome and Farewell parties during the program for students and host families
Teach basic English conversational skills about 3 mornings per week
Organize and oversee afternoon activities in the community
Accompany the group of students on one all day trip per week to sites like Disneyland and Universal Studios
