Growing international electronics technology company is looking for a contract Technical Writer to help in their testing lab to create standardized testing documents to be used throughout the company on an international basis. Will be responsible for working with various engineers to ensure all specifications are correct and must ensure that all documentation is stored correctly. Will be working on the floor in a lab. Position comes with benefits and schedule is somewhat flexible as weekend work is required for the first 5-6 weeks.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field - Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, etc.


• 2+ years' experience in documentation and technical writing in a manufacturing company - 30-50+ page documents


• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint and Excel)


• Experience with documentation for electronics, electrical products (e.g. circuits, circuit breakers, fuses, relays, etc.) and ideally prior experience doing documentation for lab testing procedures


• Experience with writing procedures, process flows, checklists, safety sheets/Lock Out/Tag Out or similar


• Automotive experience a big plus
