Mochuelo at Hotel Piccadilly is looking for a FULL TIME Bar Supervisor / Assistant Restaurant Manager responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our newly renovated restaurant and bar.

This team member would develop signature mixed drinks for the restaurant and utilize local fresh herbs/seasonal fruits for house made infused syrups and liquors. Enthusiasm and a willingness to create a unique personal experience for each guest is required. Attention to detail and knowledge of food and wine pairings is a must.

Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Assists Restaurant Manager in daily functions such as opening/closing,

Develop signature mixed drinks for the restaurant. Create and use in house made infused simple syrups and liquors. Use of fresh herbs and seasonal fruits.

Knowledge of commonly ordered drinks and ability to make suggestions

Knowledge of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures

Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail

Basic knowledge of Point of Sales systems, Clover system preferred

Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule and covering shifts as necessary.

Stock bar for opening and closing

Develop and monitor liquor inventory

Monitor beer and liquor sales and cost control measures

Knowledge and focus on quality whiskey products

Monitor and rotate out draft beer selection depending on demand and season.

Knowledge of food and wine pairings with ability to suggest wines based on customer's stated preference and type of food ordered.

Replace kegs and restock bottles of alcohol when necessary

Monitor current levels of inventory including stemware, glassware, garnishes, etc. to ensure proper levels

Quality control of food served, enforce standards set for staff including bartenders and servers

Make personal connections with guests to ensure customer service satisfaction.

Maintain neat and clean bar area

Take food and beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests as needed

Basic math skills and ability to handle money and credit card transactions accurately

Required: minimum age 21 year old

Required: Certification to serve alcohol

Prior bartending and serving experience REQUIRED
