Looking for compassionate individuals to help with the care of our disabled daughter. She is fully dependent on us for all of her daily care. This includes, but is not limited to; g-tube feeds, medications, diapering, positioning, two-man lifting, ranging, bathing, dressing, cleaning, laundry. Most shifts you will have another adult working with you, majority of the time there is another adult in the home.
Hiring two caregivers for two separate positions:
First position will consist of day and evening shifts, including weekends, for approximately 14 to 17 hours per
week. Potential for additional hours.
Second position is for overnight shifts which will consist of 3 shifts of 8 hours each. The caregiver working
overnight will be required to be awake and monitoring our daughter at all times.
Caregivers applying must work well with others, be motivated, know how to keep busy, and be a quick thinker. You will be monitored closely and expected to take the job seriously. Applicants must be capable of lifting 50 pounds; this job is physically demanding.
Requirements for job: flu-shot, good personal hygiene, reliable transportation, background check/live scan and previous job references.
Our daughter is medically fragile so it is important to note that if you are hired you will not be allowed to come to work on days when you are sick or contagious.
