JOB SUMMARY:
Signing Bonus: A one-time $15,000 stipend will be offered to the successful candidate to be paid as follows: 50% after the employee's first school year with a satisfactory summary evaluation; and 50% after the employee's second school year with a satisfactory summary evaluation.
District will consider Intern applicants.
Selected candidate must be willing to teach distance learning when needed.
The successful candidate will be required to complete DOJ clearance and pre-employment online training.
Begin Date: August 9, 2021 (184 work days per year)
Hours: 1 FTE
Location: Confluence High School (.5 FTE) & District Wide (.5 FTE)

BASIC FUNCTION:
The job of "Teacher - High School" is done for the purpose of developing students' academic skills through academic courses of study. This would include the implementation of District approved curriculum aligned to the California State Standards. The District endorses the California State Standards for the Teaching Profession. Teachers are required to document teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes, addressing specific educational needs of students. They are to provide a safe learning environment, and provide consistent and timely feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding student progress, expectations, goals, etc.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a valid CA Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Mild/Moderate and Be EL Authorized at the time of closing.
