Currently, we are seeking qualified Laborers, Electricians, and Equipment Operators at our Quincy division with great opportunities for advancement.
Laborers - About The Position
â¢ Entry level position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
â¢ Learn to fill in on various machine stations
â¢ Stack and pile lumber and shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
â¢ We look for applicants with at least 6 months' recent, related work history and verifiable references
â¢ All applicants must be at least age 18
Electricians - About The Position
â¢ Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems and mechanical defects.
â¢ Recognize and correct mechanical defects.
â¢ Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
â¢ Operate cutting torch, gas welder, drill press, grinder, and hand tools.
â¢ 2 years' recent verifiable related work history required.
â¢ Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming, motor control circuits, 480 volt 3-phase AC/DC motors, starters, electrical and hydraulic systems required.
Equipment Operators - About The Position
â¢ Operate frontend loader to load/unload log trucks
â¢ Sort logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill
â¢ Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery for full daily shifts
â¢ Learn and operate chipper, heel boom loader, and plow snow with the loader in the winter
â¢ 2 years' prior loader operating experience
â¢ Proven ability to recognize and sort logs by species
