Currently, we are seeking qualified Laborers, Electricians, and Equipment Operators at our Quincy division with great opportunities for advancement.

Laborers - About The Position

• Entry level position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision

• Learn to fill in on various machine stations

• Stack and pile lumber and shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts

Qualifications

• We look for applicants with at least 6 months' recent, related work history and verifiable references

• All applicants must be at least age 18

Electricians - About The Position

• Install, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems and mechanical defects.

• Recognize and correct mechanical defects.

• Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment.

• Operate cutting torch, gas welder, drill press, grinder, and hand tools.

Qualifications

• 2 years' recent verifiable related work history required.

• Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and programming, motor control circuits, 480 volt 3-phase AC/DC motors, starters, electrical and hydraulic systems required.

Equipment Operators - About The Position

• Operate frontend loader to load/unload log trucks

• Sort logs by species and feed logs to the sawmill

• Climb ladders on heavy equipment and operate machinery for full daily shifts

• Learn and operate chipper, heel boom loader, and plow snow with the loader in the winter

Qualifications

• 2 years' prior loader operating experience

• Proven ability to recognize and sort logs by species
