Job Summary:
The Groomer/Bather will be responsible for providing grooming and bathing services to a variety of pets, primarily dogs and cats. This role requires a patient, gentle approach, and a strong understanding of pet behavior. The ideal candidate will have experience in grooming, bathing, and a passion for animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide grooming services, including haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other related tasks.
Bathe pets using appropriate shampoos and conditioners, ensuring the pet’s comfort and safety.
Assess pets for any signs of illness or discomfort and report concerns to the owner.
Maintain grooming equipment and ensure a clean, sanitary workspace.
Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pet’s grooming needs and preferences.
Uphold our high standards for pet care and customer service.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a pet groomer or bather.
Knowledge of various breeds and their specific grooming needs.
Ability to handle pets safely and with care, particularly nervous or aggressive animals.
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
