Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dog grooming services, including bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, and styling, in accordance with client preferences and breed standards.
Assess the condition of a dog's coat, skin, and overall health, and address any issues or concerns appropriately.
Safely handle and restrain dogs during grooming sessions, prioritizing their comfort and minimizing stress.
Trim nails, clean ears, and maintain proper dental hygiene as part of grooming services.
Engage in effective communication with clients to understand their specific requests and provide grooming recommendations based on the dog's needs.
Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and in good working condition.
Keep accurate records of each dog's grooming history, preferences, and any special instructions provided by clients.
Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques, styles, and industry trends to continuously enhance your skills and provide innovative services.
Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a dog groomer, with a portfolio showcasing various grooming styles and techniques.
In-depth knowledge of dog breeds, coat types, and specific grooming requirements.
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments with confidence and patience.
Proficiency in using grooming tools, such as clippers, shears, brushes, and bathing equipment.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and understand their grooming preferences.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring high-quality grooming outcomes and the safety of the dogs in your care.
Dedication to maintaining a clean and organized grooming environment in compliance with sanitary standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage scheduling, handle monetary transactions, and maintain client records independently.

Certification from a recognized grooming school or relevant training program is a plus.
Working Arrangement:
This position is offered on an independent contractor basis, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule and work autonomously.
