Job Title: Bakery, Birthday Cakes & Beverage Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Bakery, Birthday Cakes, Pastries & Beverage Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and decorating various bakery items, Pastries, Birthday cakes while also demonstrating expertise in the preparation of various beverages, including coffee, boba, juices, smoothies, and teas that are both hot & cold.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, bake, and decorate custom cakes for various occasions, including weddings, birthdays, and other events.
Collaborate with customers to discuss cake design preferences, themes, flavors, and ingredients.
Prepare and brew coffee, tea, and other hot beverages with precision and according to customer preferences.
Create boba tea drinks, including preparing tapioca pearls, brewing tea, and mixing flavors.
Blend fresh fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients to create delicious and nutritious juices and smoothies.
Stay informed of new trends and techniques in cake design and beverage preparation to ensure menu offerings remain up-to-date and innovative.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that customer needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in baking and cake decorating, preferably in a professional bakery or café setting.
Knowledge of a wide range of cake designs and decorating techniques, including piping, fondant, and sugar work.
Proven experience creating specialty beverages such as coffee, tea, boba, juices, and smoothies.
Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with customers and team members.
Creative mindset and passion for staying current with industry trends.
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
