Job Details
As a member of our engineering group, the Electrical Hardware Engineer will be responsible for the electrical engineering design of products used in military and defense applications. Must be proficient at circuit design, both hardware and firmware, and development of test plans for products that will be used for Human to Machine Interface adhering to Military Standards 461 and 810.
Responsibilities for the Electrical Design Engineer include, but are not limited to, the following:
Project lead, on various programs that will encompass design development, ATP's, qualification/testing and coordinating these activities with internal and external resources.
Design, generate circuit designs using Altium or equivalent software and create drawing packages for distribution for quote and manufacture.
General Requirements:
BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience in product development from the design to manufacturing phase.
PCB design and layout experience (Altium is preferred) is a must.
Bonus skills:
Experience with necessary test equipment and standards to meet military standards 461 and 810 is a plus
Technical proficiency in Military Standards 22885, 461, 704 or 810 is a plus.
