Hollywood Studio Lot, with many building types and functions is looking for a contract Mechanical Engineer for a ONE YEAR CONTRACT POSITION with possibility of a longer run. Job Requirements include:
Review/Update Mechanical Standards for the studio lot and work with the Electrical Standards and Process Controls Standards owners for alignment
Monitor and analyze performance of the studio lot central plant (Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Motors, VFDs, Microturbines, Filters, Water Treatment, etc.)
Monitor and analyze performance of the studio lot data center HVAC System (CRACs, Cooling Towers, Pumps, Motors, VFDs, Filters, Water Treatment, Air Balance, etc.)
Participate/Manage on Capital/Maintenance projects
Review inventories of HVAC systems and utilities to update long term operating and replacement plans, including refrigeration replacements and conversions
Advise on the maintenance programs for union trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Electronics, Carpentry, etc.)
Perform/Participate in building/stage audits for energy efficiency opportunities
Pursue rebate opportunities for energy saving projects
Requirements would include a B.S.DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING or technical applicable equivalent with a minimum of 5 years practical experience with mechanical systems. Working knowledge of project management skill set and tools a major plus
