Job Description:
As an HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. This role demands precision, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of HVAC systems to ensure that installations are done safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Installation: Expertly install HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems, ensuring all components are set up correctly and function properly.
- Project Planning: Review job specifications and blueprints to determine the appropriate installation procedures and materials. Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless project execution.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct post-installation tests and inspections to verify that systems are operating efficiently and in compliance with industry standards. Address any issues immediately to ensure optimal performance.
- Customer Interaction: Provide clear explanations to clients regarding their new systems, including operational guidance and maintenance tips. Ensure customers understand the work performed and are satisfied with the installation.
- Safety and Compliance: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards during all phases of installation. Maintain a clean and organized worksite to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any challenges that arise during installation, applying your technical expertise to find effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in HVAC installation, with a proven ability to handle complex installations in residential and light commercial environments.
- Certification: EPA Certification is required. A valid Driver’s License is necessary for travel to various job sites.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, installation techniques, and best practices. Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent troubleshooting skills to address installation challenges and ensure systems are installed to the highest standards.
- Independence and Teamwork: Ability to work independently on projects while also collaborating effectively with other team members.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients and document installations.
