Our growing personal injury law office is looking for an experienced personal injury lawyer to become part of our team. The right candidate should have the ability to handle personal injury cases from intake to settlement, file lawsuits, handle early litigation matters, and lead a team with little to no supervision.
Most of our cases are settled in pre-litigation, but some litigation may be needed. In the event a case cannot be settled, we team up with litigation firms to make sure our clients are fully compensated.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of personal injury law, medical treatment, and can negotiate cases and medical liens effectively.
Responsibilities
Lead teams with little to no supervision
Handle personal injury cases (mostly car accidents) from intake to settlement
Oversee property damage, medical records, case management, and lien negotiations
Assess the value of cases and provide recommendations to clients
Build rapport with clients and guide them from start to finish
File lawsuits and handle early litigation matters
Negotiate cases and medical liens effectively
Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular communication with clients
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in California
At least 1 year of experience in personal injury law
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
Ability to handle a large caseload while providing exceptional client service
Strong understanding of personal injury law and medical treatment
Compensation
Salary: $90k to $150k commensurate with experience and qualifications
Referral fee of up to 50% of the attorney’s fee due to the firm on cases you bring in on your own.
