Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Part-Time Security Guard to join our team. This role will primarily involve providing security services at private events and hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle potentially stressful situations with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security, including event venues, hotel lobbies, corridors, and other public spaces.
Manage access points to restrict unauthorized entry and ensure only guests and approved personnel are allowed in designated areas.
Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, including disturbances, unauthorized access, and emergencies, ensuring the safety of guests and property.
Provide a welcoming and professional presence, assisting guests with inquiries and offering directions as needed.
Document and report any security incidents, irregularities, or safety hazards to the appropriate management personnel.
Work closely with event staff, hotel management, and local law enforcement as needed to maintain a secure environment.
Be prepared to assist in evacuations or emergencies, following established protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid Security Guard card.
- Prior experience in security or customer service is preferred.
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and safety practices.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift or move items as needed.
Working Conditions:
