A growing leader in the moving industry, is looking for a Dispatcher with a background in moving logistics. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and experienced in coordinating large-scale moving operations, managing daily tasks, and ensuring smooth communication between our drivers, dispatch team, and clients.
Position Overview: As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations for a fleet of 30+ trucks, making sure all jobs are completed efficiently, on time, and according to company guidelines. You will work closely with drivers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure seamless service.
Key Responsibilities:
File reports and process requests related to moving jobs
Ensure the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of all moving jobs
Support and coordinate drivers and dispatchers across a fleet of 30+ trucks
Communicate extensively through computer and telephone systems
Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience in the moving industry is required
Familiarity with moving or logistics software
Experience managing a large fleet of trucks (30+ trucks)
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
