Bartender needed for busy Carmel restaurant.
AM and PM shifts Thursday-Monday.
Duties include:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to recipes and guest preferences.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering menu recommendations and providing excellent service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Adhere to all alcohol service regulations and ensure responsible serving practices.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience bartending in a fine dining restaurant or upscale bar preferred
- Strong understanding of spirits and mixology and the ability to create unique and delicious cocktails
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Passion for food and beverage service, and a desire to constantly improve and evolve our offerings
- Commitment to upholding health and safety regulations
