A modern fine dining, dinner-only restaurant serving Californian cuisine in Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Position Available: Host
Schedule: Wednesday to Saturday, 2pm to close (usually 10pm)
Expectations:
- Timely responses to guest request by email, phone and in-person
- Basic knowledge of high-end food and wine
- Impeccable communication and customer service skills
- Professional demeanor
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure, maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays (Xmas Eve, NYE, Valentines, etc.)
- A genuine passion for hospitality and exceeding guest expectations
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing top-tier, personalized service to our guests
- Organizing the dining floor and flow of service
- Managing tables with precision and ensuring that each guest leaves satisfied
Compensation:
- $25 per hour + tips, daily family meal, employee discount
Qualifications:
- Valid food handler card
- Typing, phone and interpersonal skills
