The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including serving, hosting, answering phone calls, bussing tables, and assisting with dishwashing. Key Responsibilities:
- Host/Hostess Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Ensure the dining area is welcoming and presentable.
- Serving:
- Take customer orders accurately and ensure prompt service.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables with attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional customer service by attending to guests' needs.
- Bussing:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after customers leave.
- Reset tables for the next guests.
- Ensure dining and service areas are clean and well-organized.
- Phone Handling:
- Answer phone calls professionally and courteously.
- Handle takeout orders and assist with customer inquiries.
- Dishwashing:
- Assist with dishwashing as needed.
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are clean and properly stored.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a restaurant environment is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
- Willingness to be flexible and take on various roles as needed.
