The MY Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram Service Department, currently has the opportunity for a Lube technician to join our team.
A Lube Technician is responsible for performing vehicle maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering
knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun.
Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission,
differentials, transfer case, radiator and washer reservoir.
Check and adjust air pressure on tires.
Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants.
Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
Add water to radiator and washer bottle.
Replace oil, air and cabin filters.
Upsell safety inspection services
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge in automotive maintenance.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
Possess basic computer skills.
Valid Driver’s license including familiarity with manual and automatic
Good driving record.
Professional personal appearance.
Self-directed, detail oriented, reliable, and strong initiative
Ability to communicate effectively and work with leaders, peers, and others
Ability to maintain level of productivity established by supervisor.
This is a physically demanding position. The Lube Technician may stand six to eight
hours during a shift. Will lift part weighing up to 70 pounds. Will use air tools. Will
stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle, and feel. Will be exposed to noise,
vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
