Joby Overview
Located in Northern California, the Joby Aviation team is steadily working toward our goal of creating an affordable, all-electric air transportation system. Imagine an air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly and quickly carries you over the traffic congestion below, giving you back the time that otherwise would have spent sitting in traffic. Since 2009, our team has been making this dream a reality, designing and flight testing a prototype aircraft capable of serving in a network of electric air taxis. We’re looking for talented individuals to join our team as we push onwards toward the aircraft with the Federal Aviation Administration and preparing for commercialization with launch targeted in select markets for 2024.

Entry level roles- (no experience necessary) with career growth opportunities;

Skilled Roles- should have at least 1 year on the job or similar experience;
o 5-Axis CNC Machinist and Programmer
o Manufacturing and Production Planner
o Manufacturing Engineer
o Quality Inspectors and Engineer
Basic Entry Level Job Requirements.
Ability to work safely, learn quickly and continue to challenge yourself.
Ability to lift 50lbs.
Basic computer, problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Knowledge of basic hand tools.
Can verbally communicate, comprehend written and verbal instructions, detailed drawings, and documents.
Capable of basic mathematical calculations
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Any hands-on, skilled trade or craft (i.e., woodworking, sewing, fiberglass, etc.) a plus.
