Job Title: Cabinet Maker/Assembler
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Assembler to join our team. The
successful candidate will be responsible for crafting, assembling, and producing custom
cabinets. This role requires a high level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the
ability to work with various materials and tools.

Schedule/Shifts
8-hour shifts
Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Cut, shape, and assemble wooden parts to create custom cabinets and furniture.
Select appropriate materials, such as wood, veneers, and laminates, for each
project.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project
specifications.
Ability to manage time effectively to ensure all projects and products are
completed on schedule.
Must be proficient in assembly using cam lock systems, dowels, and solid wood
glue-up techniques.
Operate woodworking machinery, including saws, routers, sanders, and joiners,
safely and efficiently.
Responsible for picking parts from inventory shelves, including panels, doors,
drawers, and accessories.
Responsible for applying sealant, varnish, and paint to cabinets when required
Responsible for creating both standard and custom components of cabinets
Install hardware, such as hinges, drawer slides, and handles.
Conduct quality checks on completed products to ensure they meet
specifications and standards.
Planning
Must be proficient in using a tape measure accurately
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs
Must be able to properly handle, operate, and maintain hand tools
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Adhere to all safety regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
Qualifications
3 years minimum experience required
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking or
carpentry is highly preferred.
Proven experience as a Cabinet Assembler or in a similar woodworking role.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
Strong understanding of wood properties, materials, and construction techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship.
Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials and machinery.
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a
team.
Skills
Expertise in woodworking and cabinet making techniques.
Proficient in measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling wood components.
Knowledge of various types of wood, veneers, and laminates.
Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
Working Conditions
Work is primarily performed in a workshop environment with exposure to noise,
dust, and woodworking machinery.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear
protection, and dust masks is mandatory.
License/Certification
Active Driver’s License required
