Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and deliver software solutions that demonstrably provide business value while supporting the right blend of people, process, and technology.
- Develop, support and maintain application software, including front-end, business layer, data layer and systems integrations.
- Follow modern development best practices with a focus on technical rigor that directly supports business functions.
- Promote and adhere to the definition of done in all solutions.
- Stay current in new technologies, identifying and advocating for the targeted use of emergent technologies.
- Partner and collaborate with Project Management and Business Analysis teams to align on business requirements and delivery expectations.
- Collaborate with QA team to develop test plans and remediate issues discovered.
- Ensure as-built technical documentation is captured.
- Mentor and review the work of more junior developers to ensure solutions are appropriate and standards are followed.
- Assist in driving teams to follow process and meet delivery goals.
Skills and Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in a hands-on web application development role with a history of providing technical leadership to more junior developers.
- Advanced to expert-level skills and experience with C# and SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2016.
- Advanced to expert-level skills with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS, and Angular.
- Familiarity with writing unit tests.
- Demonstrated familiarity with the "culture of DevOps".
- Understanding of enterprise design patterns and practices.
- Proven ability to maintain focus in an environment of rapidly changing priorities.
- Stellar interpersonal and communication skills.
- Microsoft development and other industry certifications are preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
