Our client based in Roseville California is seeking a Network Support Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity!
The daily duties will include ensuring network security, administration, hardware, software support and upgrades are resolved. The Network Engineer will work in a team-based environment to assist technical and non-technical employees with network access, VPN support, security protocol, remote conferencing and application support as well as working with different hardware and software platforms. Daily duties may include the following:

• Backup and recovery of data
• Network support including increasing performance and efficiency, monitor any issues with downtime and increase communications
• Document network downtime as well as steps taken to fix issues
• Work with providers to maintain and update cloud services

Skills required:

• Experience as a Network Engineer or Administrator
• Background supporting both onsite and remote locations as well as remote employees who connect with VPN for online meetings
• Support peripherals such as printers, projectors, wireless connectivity and mobile devices
• Have knowledge of both Windows and Linux platforms
• Experience with Cisco, VoIP, Windows, MacOS and AWS.
